About This Position
Richland Hospital & Clinics has a full-time, benefit-eligible position available for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in our UW Specialty Outreach Clinic.
This is a 0.8 – 0.9 FTE position with one rotating day off. Clinic hours are 8:00am – 4:30 pm when on site, with flexibility in scheduling to support work-life balance and clinic operations.
The Medical Assistant/LPN will assist physicians with examinations, patient care, ECGs, coordination of lab work and testing, and pre-visit planning. In this role, you will also provide general information to the public, answer incoming phone calls, record messages, and assist in scheduling appointments.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment. Occasional travel to other Outreach regional sites may be required.
Education and Experience: A Medical Assistant Certification or Licensed Practical Nurse credential from an approved program is required. CPR Certification is also mandatory. A successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner. Additionally, an interest in acquiring new skills and knowledge necessary for the essential functions of the position, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, is essential.
