Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Warrior – Day Shift

La Crescent Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team in a full-time day shift position.
The RN will provide and oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and help ensure that residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
Assess residents and monitor changes in condition
Develop, implement, and follow individualized resident care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Provide direct nursing care as needed
Communicate with physicians, providers, residents, and families regarding resident needs and changes in condition
Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs during the shift
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and clinical concerns
Ensure nursing care is provided in accordance with facility policies and applicable standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes
Qualifications
Current RN license in Minnesota or eligibility for Minnesota licensure
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage resident care
Dependable, organized, and committed to quality care
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required
Schedule: Weekend Warrior – Day Shift, 12-hour shifts. Shift differential: $4.00 per hour in addition to base wage.
