About This Position
Join our team as a Medical Assistant (CMA) in Olympia, WA, and support patient care in an adult outpatient clinic on a 13-week travel contract.
Position Details
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Start date: November 2, 2026
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day clinical operations and patient care in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Required: experience with any charting system
- Adult outpatient clinic work setting
- Obtain vital signs
- Hearing screening
- Vision testing
- Record patient history, medications, and allergies
- Prepare for and assist with nebulizer treatments
- Administer immunizations
- Label specimens
- Collect throat specimens
- Collect urine specimens for UA/clean catch
- Perform venipuncture
- Perform blood glucose testing via glucometer
- Telephone triage
- Handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Administer TB tests
- Make follow-up phone calls
- Remove sutures
- Room patients
