About This Position

Position Details

- Schedule: Day shift, five 8-hour shifts per week, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Responsibilities
Support clinicians and patients in an outpatient care setting, contribute to an organized clinical workflow, and communicate professionally with patients and the care team.
Requirements
- Work setting: Adult outpatient clinic.
- Charting system experience is required; any charting system is acceptable.
- Certification: BLS.
- Vital signs: Obtain vital signs, perform hearing screening, and conduct vision testing.
- Exam preparation: Record patient history, medications, and allergies.
- Procedure support: Set up and assist with nebulizer treatments.
- Injections: Administer immunizations.
- Specimen collection: Label specimens; collect throat and urine (UA/clean catch) specimens; perform venipuncture.
- Laboratory testing: Perform blood glucose testing with a glucometer.
- Office duties: Telephone triage; handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests.
- Additional skills: Administer TB tests, make follow-up phone calls, remove sutures, and room patients.
