We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology professional to become a vital part of our team. Shift and Schedule
- Day Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician experience required
- Neuro experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Proficient in charting systems (any system acceptable)
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT Radiography (R), CCI RCIS
- Expertise in abdominal and pelvic procedures such as:
- Adrenal angiography, aortography, angioplasty, chemoembolization, embolization
- ERCP, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, pelvic angiography, paracentesis
- Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement and removal, renal angiography, stent placement
- Superior vena cavogram and thoracentesis procedures
- Experience with genitourinary studies/procedures including:
- Angiography of genitourinary system, adrenal angiography, embolization
- Cholecystostomy, cystoscopy, gastrostomy, nephrostomy
- Renal artery and ureteral stent placement, uterine arterial embolization
- Knowledge of vascular studies and procedures, including endovascular interventions
- Competency in procedural responsibilities:
- Equipment setup, room circulation, scrub role maintaining sterile field
- Use of vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose
- Age-specific competence treating young adults, middle adults, and older adults
- Neurological studies and procedures expertise in:
- Carotid angiography, discogram, embolization, stent placement
- Thrombolysis/thrombectomy, vertebroplasty (all required)
- Strong professional knowledge and leadership skills, including management or lead experience
- No travel experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment and procedure rooms to adhere to sterile environment standards
- Serve in multiple procedural roles including room circulator and scrub tech to support physicians
- Operate and troubleshoot vascular closure systems during endovascular interventions
- Ensure accurate and timely charting using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Assume charge responsibilities, overseeing workflow and assisting team members as needed
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Qualifications
- Valid certification in ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), and CCI RCIS
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology tech experience demonstrating procedural competency
- Demonstrated experience or willingness to provide leadership or charge duties
- Proficiency with multiple charting systems and adherence to documentation standards
- Strong communication, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work cohesively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
Compensation and Benefits
