We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our team specializing in Mammography Technology. Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in Radiology/Cardiology, specifically in Mammography Technology
- Patient Ratio Experience: 1:1 patient care
- Proficient charting experience using any electronic charting system
- No travel experience required
- Certifications required: ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong knowledge and adherence to Isolation Precautions and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mammographic procedures including 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic and Screening Mammograms
- Conduct specialized interventions such as Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, and Stereotactic Biopsy
- Provide direct patient care with a focus on safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic charting systems
- Adhere strictly to isolation protocols and PPE guidelines to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained and operates according to safety standards
- Educate patients and address concerns to facilitate a positive diagnostic experience
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT (R) certification in Radiologic Technology
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience with the full scope of mammography procedures
- Ability to work independently and provide 1:1 patient care with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledgeable in infection control practices and PPE use
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $62.00 to $74.00, with weekly pay provided through Quick2Hire staffing agency.
