Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Nebraska
- Proven experience in dialysis nursing
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment
- Knowledge of infection control standards and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities
- Administer dialysis treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatments and patient progress
- Ensure dialysis equipment is properly maintained and sanitized
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and care requirements
- Adhere strictly to safety and infection control guidelines
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients throughout treatment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
- Relevant dialysis nursing experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and long periods of standing
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $52.00 to $62.00
