Shift / Schedule
- Flexible shifts available – specific unit and hours will be communicated during the hiring process
Requirements and Skills
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Nebraska
- Experience in medical-surgical and geriatric care units preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems is an asset
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Medical-Surgical and Geriatric Care Units
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accordingly
- Monitor patient progress, identifying changes in condition and responding promptly
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in Nebraska
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Previous experience in Med Surg or Geriatric Care Units preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $62.00 - $73.00
