Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid RN license
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
- Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries and emergency interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license – required
- Previous labor and delivery experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $80.00 - $95.00
