Shift and Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights
- Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records according to regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Dakota
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred but not required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
