Shift & Schedule

Requirements & Skills

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical nursing environments
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
  • Ability to deliver compassionate care in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical units
  • Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans accordingly
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and unexpected patient needs

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
  • Prior experience in ER and Medical-Surgical nursing strongly preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
