Requirements & Skills
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical nursing environments
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
- Ability to deliver compassionate care in high-pressure situations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical units
- Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans accordingly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
- Respond promptly to emergencies and unexpected patient needs
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Prior experience in ER and Medical-Surgical nursing strongly preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $64.00 - $76.00
