Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, supporting patients through the full birthing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and communicate changes to the care team.
- Prepare for and assist with routine L&D procedures per unit protocols.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other team members to deliver safe, timely care.
- Maintain a calm, supportive approach for patients and families during labor and delivery.
Requirements
- Active RN license (requirements must be maintained throughout the assignment).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient monitoring skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, time-sensitive environment.
- Clear, professional communication and reliable documentation.
