Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and patient-care standards.
- Prepare patients for examinations, verify procedure information, and provide clear instructions.
- Operate assigned imaging equipment and review images for technical quality.
- Document procedures accurately in the designated charting system.
- Collaborate with the care team while maintaining patient privacy, safety, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS
- Preferred charting system experience: Epic
- Adult acute care work setting
- Abdomen without and/or with contrast
- Pelvis without and/or with contrast
- Biopsies (required)
- Brain perfusion (required)
- CT arthrography (required)
- Vascular CTA
- Cervical spine imaging
- Lumbar spine imaging
- Musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Thoracic spine imaging
- Chest without and/or with contrast
- GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment
- Head without and/or with contrast
- Isolation precautions and PPE
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Radiation safety
- Starting peripheral IVs
- Venipuncture (required)
