Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient CT imaging support in an adult acute care environment.
- Prepare patients and imaging equipment for scheduled examinations and procedures.
- Follow established protocols for patient care, imaging quality, radiation protection, and contrast administration.
- Collaborate with the care team while maintaining accurate documentation and professional standards.
Requirements
- Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS.
- Preferred charting system experience: Epic.
- Abdomen imaging: abdomen without and/or with contrast.
- Pelvis imaging: pelvis without and/or with contrast.
- Work setting: adult acute care.
- Special procedures: biopsies (required), brain perfusion (required), CT arthrography (required), and vascular CTA.
- Spine and musculoskeletal imaging: cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, and thoracic.
- Chest imaging: chest without and/or with contrast.
- Equipment experience: GE, PACS, and Siemens.
- Head and neck imaging: head without and/or with contrast.
- Professional knowledge and skills: isolation precautions/PPE, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture (required).
