Requirements and Skills

  • Current and valid RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin
  • Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in documentation and electronic health record systems
  • Commitment to maintaining patient safety and quality care standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor health status, and implement nursing interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all nursing activities and patient progress
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans
  • Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies related to patient care and safety
  • Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergencies

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
  • Demonstrated experience in nursing with a focus on Long-Term Care preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
  • Professional certification(s) related to nursing is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and work environments
  • Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

Compensation: $57.00 - $68.00 per hour
