Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Proficient in documentation and electronic health record systems
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and quality care standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting
- Perform patient assessments, monitor health status, and implement nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all nursing activities and patient progress
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans
- Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies related to patient care and safety
- Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergencies
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Demonstrated experience in nursing with a focus on Long-Term Care preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
- Professional certification(s) related to nursing is a plus
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and work environments
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
Compensation: $57.00 - $68.00 per hour
