Requirements and Skills
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Experience and competency in dialysis nursing
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Ability to monitor patient conditions and manage dialysis equipment safely
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments with utmost attention to patient safety and comfort
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, fluid balance, and response to treatment
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines and related equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and post-treatment care
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Nebraska
- Prior experience in dialysis nursing preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $62.00 - $73.00
