Position Details

Responsibilities
- Provide IV therapy and phlebotomy as needed
- Administer blood and blood products
- Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)
- Support medication administration, including anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
- Assist with high-risk delivery
- Circulate for C-section
- Recover post–C-section
- Perform sterile vaginal exams
- Deliver labor pain management support, including epidural anesthesia and pain assessment & management
- Use PCA (IV) as appropriate for patient care
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements
- Complete triage of obstetrical patients
- Perform fetal monitoring including IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
- Provide postpartum care including wound assessment/care
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience (screen for less than 2 years)
- ACLS (required)
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- FHM
- NRP
- Epic charting required
- Teaching hospital experience (required)
