Position Details
Role: Registered Nurse (RN - General)
Unit: Labor and Delivery
Shift: Night (4x12 Hours) — 19:00 to 7:30
Duration: 26 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Start Date: 2026-09-14
Pay: $63.00 - $74.00 per hour
Charting System: Epic (required)
Responsibilities
Provide IV therapy and phlebotomy support as needed.
Administer blood and blood products.
Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC).
Administer medications including anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
Support Labor and Delivery management, including assisting with high-risk delivery.
Circulate for C-section and support C-section recovery.
Perform sterile vaginal exams.
Participate in pain management, including epidural anesthesia support, pain assessment and management, and use of PCA (IV).
Follow isolation precautions/PPE and maintain patient safety standards.
Provide antepartum care including triage of obstetrical patients.
Support fetal monitoring, including IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration.
Provide postpartum care including wound assessment and care.
Requirements
RN licensure with 2 years of experience required (screen for less than 2 years).
ACLS (required)
AWHONN Intermediate
BLS
FHM
NRP
Epic charting experience (required)
Teaching Hospital experience requirement (required)
