Requirements & Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency as an IR/Vascular Technologist capable of operating imaging equipment and assisting with interventions
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to perform diagnostic imaging and provide accurate imaging support during vascular and interventional procedures
- Compliance with safety standards, infection control, and radiation protection protocols
- Excellent teamwork and adaptability within multidisciplinary healthcare settings
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized radiologic equipment to assist in interventional radiology and vascular procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and institutional protocols regarding radiation safety and infection control
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with advances in the field
Qualifications
- Formal education and certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialization or experience in Interventional Radiology or Vascular Technology
- Current and valid state licensure or certification as required
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting performing interventional radiology procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards
Compensation & Additional Information
- Competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $78.00 to $92.00
