Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Issaquah, WA—support Labor & Delivery on a 13-week travel/contract assignment with guaranteed hours and a night shift schedule.

Position Details

Pay

• Hourly Rate: $59.00–$70.00

Requirements

• 2 years of experience (screen for less than 2 years)

• Travel experience required

• Charting system required: Epic

• Certifications (required): ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP

• Teaching Hospital experience/work setting: required

Responsibilities

• Provide Labor & Delivery nursing care, including support for high-risk delivery and assistance with high-risk antepartum needs

• Circulate for C-section and assist with recovery

• Perform sterile vaginal exams

• Support triage of obstetrical patients

• Deliver fetal monitoring care, including IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration

• Provide postpartum care including wound assessment/care

• Manage pain using epidural anesthesia and assist with pain assessment & management

• Use PCA (IV) as ordered

• Administer and manage medications and therapies such as anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy

• Provide IV therapy/phlebotomy as needed

• Administer blood and blood products

• Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC)

• Use isolation precautions/PPE according to policy
