Requirements
- 1 year(s) of experience
- Charting system experience required (Any)
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in OB/GYN and women’s health settings, including family care/clinic and urgent care workflows
- Perform assessments and interpret laboratory results
- Complete medication reconciliation
- Utilize Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies as part of patient intake
- Obtain vital signs and support ongoing clinical documentation
- Support care related to women’s health concerns, including pregnancy-induced hypertension, spontaneous abortion, and vaginal bleeding
- Set up and assist with procedures such as Pap Smear
- Set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
- Support specimen collection, including urine (UA/clean catch) and vaginal specimens
- Handle office duties such as telephone triage and pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
- Complete follow-up phone calls as needed
