Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and ensure appropriate positioning for image quality.
- Operate MRI equipment in accordance with established safety and imaging protocols.
- Collect and assess scan images, making appropriate adjustments as needed.
- Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Document procedure details according to departmental standards.
- Collaborate with the care team to support timely diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- Active MRI technologist credential/licensure as required to work in the setting.
- Proficiency operating MRI systems and performing routine MRI workflows.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on a travel schedule for 13 weeks.
- Strong patient-focused care and attention to safety during imaging.
- Basic understanding of imaging protocols and quality standards.
