About This Position
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN - General) in Issaquah, WA on a 26-week Travel/Contract assignment in Labor and Delivery. Work nights (4x12) with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to provide hands-on care across the full OB workflow.

Responsibilities
- Provide IV therapy and support blood draws/phlebotomy as needed
- Administer blood and blood products
- Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC)
- Administer and monitor medication therapies including anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
- Support labor and delivery care, including assisting with high-risk delivery
- Circulate for C-section and participate in recovery after C-section
- Perform sterile vaginal exams
- Support pain management, including epidural anesthesia, pain assessment and management, and use of PCA (IV)
- Apply isolation precautions/PPE and follow infection control practices
- Provide antepartum care, including triage of obstetrical patients
- Perform fetal monitoring activities, including IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
- Provide postpartum care, including wound assessment/care
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience (screen for less than 2 years; minimum experience required)
- Epic charting experience (required)
- ACLS (required)
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- FHM
- NRP
- Teaching Hospital experience (required)
- Travel experience: not required (minimum 2 years experience required)
