About This Position
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Issaquah, WA—take on a 26-week Labor & Delivery travel/contract assignment on nights (3x12, 19:00–7:30) with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Support obstetrical care from triage through postpartum while working with Epic charting.

Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor care for anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
- Provide IV therapy/phlebotomy support, including administration of blood and blood products
- Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) according to unit standards
- Support labor and delivery workflow, including assisting with high-risk delivery
- Circulate for C-section and participate in recovery for C-section
- Perform sterile vaginal exams
- Support pain management, including epidural anesthesia and ongoing pain assessment & management
- Use PCA (IV) as part of patient pain control
- Provide antepartum care, including triage of obstetrical patients
- Perform fetal monitoring support, including IUPC (intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
- Provide postpartum care, including wound assessment/care
- Apply isolation precautions/PPE consistently
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience (screen for less than 2 years)
- Required charting system: Epic
- ACLS (required)
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- FHM
- NRP
- Teaching hospital experience (required)
- Facility births/month: 200–300 (experience in this environment)
- Clinical setting experience: High Risk Antepartum and Labor & Delivery
- Travel experience: Not required (minimum 2 years of experience)
