Position Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Start date: October 5, 2026
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
  • Work settings: Adult outpatient clinic and pediatric outpatient clinic
  • Clinic specialties: General/family practice, internal medicine, and pediatrics

Responsibilities

  • Support daily clinical operations and promote an organized, patient-focused care environment.
  • Assist providers with routine outpatient visits and clinical workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the designated charting system.
  • Help coordinate communication and workflow among patients, providers, and the care team.

Requirements

  • Current CMA certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Epic charting system experience
  • Administering medication
  • Administration of TB tests
  • Ear lavage
  • Follow-up phone calls
  • Rooming patients
  • Suture removal
  • Biopsy procedure assistance
  • Nebulizer treatments
  • Pap smear procedure assistance
  • Blood glucose testing via glucometer
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Strep testing
  • Urine dipstick/urinalysis
  • Chart preparation
  • Pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Stocking supplies
  • Telephone triage
  • Hearing screening
  • Height and weight measurement
  • Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Pulse oximetry
  • Vision testing
  • Immunizations
  • Intradermal injections
  • Intramuscular injections
  • Specimen labeling
  • Throat specimen collection
  • Urine specimen collection, including UA/clean catch
  • Positioning and draping
  • Recording patient history, medications, and allergies
