Join Quick2Hire as a Travel Surgical Technician (CVOR Tech) in Anchorage, AK. This 13-week contract offers day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, and the opportunity to support vascular, cardiovascular, pediatric cardiovascular, robotic, and general operating room procedures.

Responsibilities
- Support surgical teams during vascular, cardiovascular, pediatric cardiovascular, robotic, and general operating room procedures.
- Apply aseptic technique, isolation precautions, PPE, universal protocol, time-out procedures, and safe specimen handling and labeling.
- Prepare, handle, document, process, sterilize, and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment according to applicable procedures.
- Follow laser, radiation, sharps, and pressure ulcer prevention safety practices.
- Assist with suture removal, wound care, and dressing changes as assigned.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification (required)
- NCCT certification (required)
- Trauma Level II experience (required)
- Vascular procedure skills: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortobifemoral bypass, aortocaval fistula repair, aortoenteric fistula repair, arteriovenous fistula repair, arteriovenous malformation surgery, atherectomy, carotid angioplasty, carotid artery stenting, carotid endarterectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, femoral popliteal bypass graft, laparoscopic-assisted cases, renal artery bypass surgery, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), and vein stripping.
- Cardiovascular procedure skills: angioplasty/stenting, aortic aneurysm repair, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and ventricular assist device (VAD) procedures.
- Pediatric cardiovascular skills: atrial septal defect repair (required), coarctation of the aorta repair (required), ECMO insertion and decannulation (required), PDA repair (required), tetralogy of Fallot repair (required), and valve repair/replacement (required).
- Cardiothoracic robotic surgery experience (required)
- Work setting experience: CVOR, general OR (required), and pediatric CVOR (required)
