Shift/Schedule

- Shift: Varies – Includes days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Scheduling flexibility to support patient care needs
Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid RN license to practice in Alabama
- Previous experience in emergency nursing or critical care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure, fast-paced situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Perform thorough assessments and initiate appropriate interventions promptly
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Respond efficiently to emergency codes and crisis situations
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Alabama
- Minimum of one year experience in emergency nursing or related field highly desirable
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation and Staffing Details
