Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Alabama
- Proven experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred
- Ability to perform rapid assessments and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Capacity to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting with a range of emergency conditions
- Perform thorough and timely patient assessments to prioritize treatment
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment adhering to infection control standards
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Compassionate care provider with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and calm
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $53.00 to $63.00, reflective of experience and qualifications.
