Position Details

Responsibilities
- Assist with Electrophysiology (EP) Lab workflows and support electrophysiology procedures
- Provide patient care in alignment with dysrhythmia monitoring and treatment needs
- Support and participate during EP procedures including: arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies
- Assist with device-related care, including insertion/programming of AICDs and pacemaker insertion
- Support left atrial appendage (LAA) closure procedures
- Support cardiac cath lab procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal and Watchman procedures
- Administer and monitor medication therapies related to the EP setting, including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics as directed
- Obtain and manage 12-lead EKG/ECG and assist with interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Charting System: Epic (required)
- Certification: BLS
- Knowledge and skill with cardioversion
- Ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias
- Ability to obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
- Work setting exposure to Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
