About This Position
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN - General) in Seattle, WA—take on a 13-week Travel/Contract NICU assignment on night shift (3x12 hours) with guaranteed hours at 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct neonatal nursing care in the NICU, including ongoing assessment and monitoring
- Manage IV therapy, including administration of blood and blood products
- Provide central line/implanted line care
- Support gastrointestinal care, including bottle, breast, and gavage feedings
- Place and manage oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes
- Administer medications and emergency medications with neonatal dosage calculations
- Care for neonates across gestational ages, including neonates < 24–28 weeks, 29–34 weeks, and > 34 weeks
- Support neurologic care, including therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket)
- Provide respiratory care, including ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
Requirements
- 3+ years of NICU experience is required for auto offers: minimum Level III NICU experience for at least 3 years, or Level IV NICU experience for at least 2 years (anything less will be screened)
- Patient ratio experience: 1:2
- Charting system: Epic preferred
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Skills readiness for the NICU setting, including IV therapy, central line/implanted line care, neonatal feeding methods and tube management, neonatal dosage calculations for medication/emergency medication, therapeutic hypothermia, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
