About This Position
Take on a 13-week Registered Nurse contract in Seattle, WA, supporting pediatric intensive care patients on a night shift schedule. This PICU opportunity offers 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a start date of October 19, 2026.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Administer treatments and medications according to orders, policies, and applicable standards of care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the care team.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for practice in Washington.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification required.
- PALS certification.
- Epic charting experience preferred.
- IV therapy and phlebotomy, including accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, central line and implanted line care, PICC line management, and starting and maintaining IVs.
- Respiratory care skills, including BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, management of chest tubes, and tracheostomy care.
- Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP).
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) required.
- Pediatric dosage calculations.
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Wound assessment and care.
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) work setting experience.
