About This Position
Join Quick2Hire as a Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA, for a 13-week travel contract supporting pediatric intensive care patients on a dedicated night schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients in the PICU.
- Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate changes appropriately.
- Provide IV therapy and phlebotomy, including accessing and managing ports, administering blood and blood products, caring for central and implanted lines, managing PICC lines, and starting and maintaining IVs.
- Manage BiPAP and CPAP, care for ventilated patients, manage chest tubes, and provide tracheostomy care.
- Monitor central venous pressure and support renal care involving continuous renal replacement therapy.
- Perform pediatric dosage calculations and administer and monitor procedural sedation.
- Complete wound assessment and care while documenting patient care in the designated charting system.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification.
- NRP certification required.
- PALS certification.
- Pediatric intensive care nursing skills, including experience with a 1:2 patient ratio.
- IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, including ports, blood and blood products, central or implanted lines, PICC lines, and IV insertion and maintenance.
- Respiratory care skills, including BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care.
- CVP monitoring experience.
- CRRT experience required.
- Pediatric dosage calculation and procedural sedation administration and monitoring skills.
- Wound assessment and care skills.

Experience
- At least 2 years of nursing experience; candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be screened out.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Experience with a 1:2 patient ratio.
- Epic charting experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience is not required.
Benefits
