About This Position

- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Work settings include high-risk antepartum, labor and delivery, and LDRP care.
- The work setting includes approximately 200–300 births per month.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for obstetrical and newborn patients throughout the assigned shift.
- Triage obstetrical patients and support high-risk antepartum care.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries, circulate for C-sections, and recover C-sections.
- Perform sterile vaginal examinations and support labor and delivery management.
- Use IUPC placement and calibration for fetal monitoring.
- Administer blood and blood products, maintain CVC and PICC central lines, and start and maintain IVs.
- Provide anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensive medications, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
- Follow isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE.
- Complete pain assessment and management, including use of IV PCA.
- Document and manage care using Epic.
Requirements
- ACLS certification required.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- BLS certification.
- FHM certification.
- NRP certification.

Experience
