Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients receiving postpartum care.
- Monitor patient condition, respond to changes, and communicate clinical updates appropriately.
- Administer medications and therapies according to established orders and protocols.
- Complete accurate electronic documentation and support safe transitions of care.
Requirements
- Epic charting system experience is required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current NRP certification required.
- Postpartum care experience, including cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, and vaginal delivery.
- Postpartum care and procedures, including episiotomy/incision care and fundus, lochia, and perineum care.
- Medication administration experience with magnesium sulfate therapy and Pitocin (oxytocin).

Experience
- At least 2 years of nursing experience required; applicants with less than 2 years of experience should not be submitted.
- Travel experience is not required. First-time travelers may be considered with at least 2 years of experience in high-volume facilities and experience with a minimum 1:4 ratio for couplets.
